After checking out the new SteelSeries Siberia V2 headset for gaming consoles yesterday, it's now time to take a look at some of the other products the company had in store for CeBIT 2011.
The devices in question are the brand-new SteelSeries 7H and Siberia v2 Headsets designed specifically to be used with the iPod, iPhone and iPad, now featuring a couple of design and functionality modifications that enable them to deliver a very good experience when connected to the aforementioned products from Apple.
So, in order to support
audio playback on iOS devices, SteelSeries' headsets come equipped with a 3.5-mm audio jack, as well as an inline remote that controls audio and call controls, while in the same time retaining the overall audio features that made them so popular with so many customers from all over the world.
The SteelSeries 7H Headset (that's already available out there in a PC-oriented version) comes equipped with a couple of very interesting features, such as interchangeable earcups, enabling users to actually either opt for cloth or leather versions, each providing a different level of noise cancellation.
Futhermore, the headset also comes packed with 50 mm drivers, and can be easily split in 4 different pieces, so that users will be able to carry it around more easily.
The SteelSeries Siberia v2 Headset for iPod, iPhone and iPad users is actually very similar to the Siberia v2 we've talked about yesterday, apart from the design differences we've already mentioned, as well as the fact that this particular model comes with a white paint job.
As far as pricing is concerned, it's worth mentioning that the SteelSeries headsets for the iOS devices are actually fairly affordable, the SteelSeries 7H Headset selling for around US$129.99 / €114.99, while the Siberia v2 for $99.99 / €94.99.
