Google is reportedly working on having its Google wallet application available for more Android-based devices than before.

Apparently, the company is determined to have the application and service available for at least ten more handsets on the airwaves of wireless carrier Sprint.

Google Wallet and Payments VP Osama Bedier reportedly confirmed such plans earlier this week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

No specific info on these devices has been offered for the time being, but the company might give specific details on the matter in the near future. Additionally, Google might also have the application available for devices on the airwaves of other wireless carriers.

Google Wallet debuted on the Nexus S 4G smartphone at Sprint. It is listed in the Android Market as available for handsets running under Android 2.3.7 or newer.
