In a few hours, Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile is expected to make official its next Android-based flagship handset, supposedly called Xperia Z.
The smartphone was spotted online a few times before with the codename C660X Yuga next to it, and is expected to be unveiled with a large 5-inch full HD screen on the front, and with a powerful quad-core processor packed inside.
The
Xperia Z was also rumored to arrive on shelves with 2GB of RAM, as well as with a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and with a front camera for making video calls.
Unfortunately, the latest leaked photos with the handset, available courtesy of
digi-wo, focus only on its outer design, and do not provide us with a glimpse at the platform and UI it will arrive on shelves loaded with.
Update: Sony has officially unveiled both
the Xperia Z and the Xperia ZL.
