The development team at Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix have revealed more pre-order bonuses for the upcoming Tomb Raider, including a Survival and a Deluxe Edition for players in Europe.

Those who shop at Best Buy will be able to get a hardcover comic book called The Beginning, which is 48 pages long, is created by game writer Rhianna Pratchett and has cover art from the game’s Art Director Brian Horton.

Gamers also get a Aviatrix Skin which allows main character Lara Croft to dress up like a pilot from the interwar period.

Those who pre-order the rebooted Tomb Raider from GameStop get access to a new area to explore, which is simply called the Challenge Tomb.

If you get the game from Amazon you get an exclusive art book and a code to download a digital copy of The Final Hours of Tomb Raider for the Kindle Fire, created by Geoff Keighley and showing how the Crystal Dynamics team put the game together.

In Europe, Square Enix plans to deliver two limited-number editions of Tomb Raider, the Survival and the Deluxe packages.

The Survival Edition includes a mini-art book, a map of the island the game portrays, a code that gets the player a digital version of the soundtrack, a code for a weapons pack and a survival pouch.

The Deluxe Edition has all the things mentioned above, as well as a Lara Croft figurine in a metal box, created by Play Arts.

The new Tomb Raider will take a young and innocent Lara Croft to a mysterious island and force her to mature and fight in order to protect her own life and those of her friends.

The game is currently set to be launched on the PLayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and the PC during early 2013.
