Motorola XT was a question mark since a few blurry pictures showing the device, surfaced back in July on the Chinese Hiapk forums. Only recently, more pictures and a few vids leaked and this time are showing the device, as well as its running OS and UI, very clear

If we are to believe what's showing in the movies, we can expect Motorola XT300 to be launched through Verizon network operator.

The red Droid eye specific the smartphone launched through the US-based carrier is also showing once the device starts to boot.

Unfortunately, the name XT300 suggests that the phone might be in fact GSM compatible, which points against being launched by Verizon.

Anyway, this seems unclear for the moment, but we will probably find out which carrier will get the small Droid smartphone first in the coming weeks.

There are no information regarding its technical specifications, but from the movie we can tell that the smartphone runs the MOTOBLUR, Motorola's social network-centric custom skin.

In fact, it's a basic version of the UI, which makes it even more unappealing. Most of Android users are already preferring stock Android interface, instead of custom UIs, such as HTC Sense, TouchWiz, or MOTOBLUR.

The device features a vertical-slider form factor, and includes a full QWERTY keyboard, much like Palm Pre and Blackberry Torch.

Showed in one of the vids, the “backtrack” feature, which is also found on the Backflip, will be embedded into Motorola XT300.

The BackTrack feature is used as an extra navigation method for the phone, as it puts a touchpad on the back of the device, allowing users to navigate with their index finger without having to take their thumbs off the keyboard.

Price tag and release date are still unknown yet, but more info will probably leak very soon.
