Britney Spears is trying to patch things up with her mom

Only a couple of days ago, the world found out that Britney was filing for a restraining order against her own mother. More to the point, Britney did not want her mother to get anywhere near her two children: Sean Preston and Jayden James. The official reason behind such an action is the fact that Lynne Spears is taking too many painkillers.

However, the true motivation might be a vendetta. Earlier this year, Britney's partying spree was ended by K-Fed and Lynne who theoretically forced her into rehab and made her seek help for her alcohol addiction. Britney was further outraged when her own mother sided with K-Fed during the custody battle for the two boys. There is also a statement in which Lynne agrees that Britney still has a long way to go before she can overcome her problems.

Lynne Spears, you officially have my respect. And the fact that these words came from the mother of Britney Spears herself adds more weight to her statements. Britney could not stand these words (the truth hurts, doesn't it?), and so she is trying to shut Lynne out of her life. Or maybe not.

It seems that Britney is trying to make amends and has posted the following messages on her website: "You will never see it my way because you are not me" and "Mother to grandmother, and my my you're grand".

That must have done it. The singer and her mother have been seen together when they visited Britney's younger sister. Also, Lynne has declared that Britney is trying to straighten out her life right now, but that otherwise, she is the sweetest, most sensitive and loving of her three children. Hold the phone!

Lynne Spears, you officially have lost my respect. What mother can do such injustice to her children by saying that one of them is sweeter, more sensitive and loving than the other is? My guess: a dysfunctional one. You deserve each other.
