Can't we all just live in peace?

Sidebar ads are nice and entertaining, aren't they? Every time you load a page, there's a good chance that a funny sidebar ad will appear, either aimed at promoting a device, a car, an environmental-friendly product and of course more. So, they're generally funny. This one, however, is close to sadistic. How much longer can Apple keep pounding on Windows?

Not that most of them don't speak the truth (the ads, I mean), but Apple's aggressive and sometimes bully-ish manner of comparing the two operating systems (or the Mac to regular PCs running whatever) is bound to get even more criticism soon, should they keep it up. How do you think the Mac-users-are-snobs thing emerged?

Because of the "Hi, I'm a Mac" ads and all the other Mac commercials aimed at showing where Microsoft goes wrong with Windows, or what the Mac does better than most PCs, Apple is drawing extremist attention to itself, meaning that Mac fans will love Apple more, while PC users will hate them more. All this can only lead to one thing: an even higher level of competition between two already proud parties.

Can't we all just live in peace...?

The first time I saw Apple's ads I thought: "You know what? They should just boast out like this! They've earned this right after all these years of hard work and constant innovation." I can't say the same thing anymore. Sure, one or two such ads do their bid, but it's really the same thing over and over again, with the release of more Mac vs PC ads.

Again, not that I'm not fond of them, it's just that I don't see everyone agreeing with Apple's approach. After all, there are quite a few people out there relying on both operating systems to get their daily jobs done. Some of these people are quite passionate about their work too. So, the question is obvious: How do these people see Mac vs PC ads?

How about you?
