These are still just reference designs, so the tablets are still in testing mode

The Alcatel One Touch Fire S isn’t the only Firefox OS tablet to be showed off as a reference design at MWC 2014.

Mozilla has introduced two new Firefox OS tablet designs which are currently in testing phases before they officially arrive on the market.

Meet the VIA Vixen 7-inch tablet which was developed in partnership with chip company VIA. The tablet comes with a 7-inch screen boasting a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and draws power from a 1.2GHz VIA ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor fitted with Mali 400 graphics and 1GB of RAM.

More specs include 8GBof internal storage, dual cameras (2MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera), and 802.11n Wi-Fi.

The Foxconn InFocus 10-inch tablet reference design has been officially announced, even if the specs have been leaked in the past.

The tablet has a 10-inch screen with the same 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and draws power from an Allwinner A31 ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core CPU combined with PowerVR SGX544MP2 graphics, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Furthermore, the slate has dual cameras (5MP on the back and 2MP in front) Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a powerful 7000 mAh battery.
