Google wants China and as far I can see, the Asian land also likes the Mountain View company. Although Google has always wanted to expand its products into China, it never managed to do so because the local market quickly rejected Google's attempts. But now, Google becomes more popular in China and the local companies seem to be more opened to the search giant's offering. China.com, one of the largest websites in the country, announced the expansion of the agreement with the Mountain View company which was offering search capabilities to all the visitors. Basically, Google implemented its search engine into the website to allow the users search the page or the Internet.

"By expanding our partnership with Google, we can further improve user satisfaction and encourage more robust growth for China.com," Xiaowei Chen, president of China.com, said in a statement according to Forbes.

As I said, Google always tried to evolve into China but it encountered many problems that stopped its expansion. There was one main problem and it still exists: the local leader Baidu, a company often compared with Google because it offers almost the same products as the Mountain View firm. Baidu always managed to attract the majority of users targeted by Google. Actually, Baidu is nicknamed as the Chinese Google as the company has almost the same success in China as Google in the US.

But the search giant had even more serious problems in China. Some time ago, it was reported that approximately 300 fake agents who were pretending to be hired by Google, were trying to sell the company's products to the local firms. Obviously, they received the money but no technology was provided. Because it affected the Google image, the company's representatives advised the users to check twice before buying a product from a Chinese agent as only a few of them are authorized by the Mountain View company.
