14 DAY TRIAL // Tomorrow, before the Grammys Awards 2012, where she’s set to make her comeback to live performing, Adele will be seen on 60 Minutes, in a pre-taped interview with Anderson Cooper.
Previews for the segment have already been released, as we also informed you on a couple of previous occasions.
Now, CBS has put out two more clips, this time showing Adele talking about her weight and the upcoming Grammys.
“I’ve never seen magazine covers or music videos and been like ‘I need to look like that to be a success.’ I don’t want to be some skinny mini with my [breasts] out. I really don’t want to do it and I don’t want people confusing what it is that I’m about,” Adele says, speaking of her weight.
She’s an artist, a singer – and not a pop star, therefore looking a certain way isn’t a prerequisite with her.
“I just stand there and sing. I don’t do stunts or anything. I’m just writing love songs. I’m not trying to be pop. I’m not trying to be jazz. I’m not trying to be anything. I’m just writing love songs and everyone loves a love song,” she explains.
