14 DAY TRIAL // Another set of images purporting to show Apple’s “budget” 2013 iPhone have been leaked to the web, this time showing the device from a better angle.
However, a better angle doesn’t mean this so-called leak is suddenly more convincing. The device appears much too thick for an Apple-branded handheld in this day and age, and the plastic itself looks awfully cheap.
Even if Apple goes with a plastic case, it will probably do its best to achieve a premium look. After all, a cheaper iPhone won’t necessarily mean a cheap iPhone.
What’s interesting is that this newly discovered image also shows what appears to be a Lightning connector sticking out of the phone. My gut tells me this one’s a fake, but (as I wrote on Twitter earlier today) it deserves to be discussed for reference purposes. What do you guys make of it?
