Beats and Monster may have announced the end of their partnership, but that does not mean that the products they have already launched can't be built upon.

It has just been reported that Monster is getting ready to launch six new color options for the Beats by Dr. Dre Studio High-Definition Headphones.

Since comfort and audio quality are already top notch, a wider color variety is all that Monster needed in order to increase the number of prospective buyers.

Of course, the price of $544 / 425 Euro (699 Singapore dollars) continues to be rather unflattering, but Monster never claimed it was striving for affordability.

As a quick rundown of the main features, the headphones have large earcups, plush ear cushions, Monster's powered noise isolation technology and a special cable for iPhones.

The extra wire even has a built-in answer button and microphone, for hand-free calls and automatic pausing of whatever song is being played.
