The team at Capcom working on Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate announces that the video game is set to include costumes for the main character based on the Metroid series, with options to use both the Samus Aran and Zero Suit Samus look.

Weapons based on the series will also be included, and it seems that gamers will get a style which is based on the most recent title in the series, Other M.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be launched only on the Nintendo 3DS handheld in Japan this weekend and gamers in the West will only be able to pick it up at some point in early 2015.

The video game will also allow gamers to use the tunic associated with Link and some weapons from The Legend of Zelda franchise, and there are also unlockable items linked to Crossing: New Leaf.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be more focused on the role the environment plays during combat and both the player and the monsters will have to use the new feature to their advantage.

Two new weapons are included for long-term fans of the series, the Insect Glaive and the Charge Axe, and the development team says that the game will focus more on character progression.
