14 DAY TRIAL // Capcom has announced the winning design for the European Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate weapon contest, and it's something a bit unexpected, to say the least: a pig horn.
The weapon's name is Emperor's Speech, and it's a hunting horn mainly used during parades, in order to raise the spirits of all those who hear it, as the official description reads.
The design is a bit on the silly side, but it's definitely adorable and will likely receive a lot of love from the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate community.
Capcom has also put together a nice trailer, showcasing the horn's history and what the weapon will look like and behave in the game.
In addition to this, Capcom has also released a plain old regular gameplay trailer for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, showing how the game looks on the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming console.
The game has a strong emphasis on three-dimensional action, allowing players much more freedom when it comes to movement than previous installments in the series did, and even permitting adventurers to grab on to monsters and attack them.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is currently scheduled for launch this fall in Japan, as an update for the already existing Monster Hunter 4, and will also be making its way to western markets in early 2015, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
