Video game developer Milestone and publisher Black Bean Games have released new information about their upcoming motocross simulation MUD FIM Motocross World Championship, offering details on the Monster Energy Trick Battle Mode.

In order to show off the new gameplay mechanics of the title, the two companies have enlisted Vanni Oddera, who is a champion in the freestyle discipline of the motocross competition and has worked to instill a sense of realism into MUD.

Monster Energy Trick Battle Mode takes place in six arenas that are located all over the world, from Spain to the Czech Republic to the United States, and includes tricks ranging from the simpler Can Can or the Nac Nac to the danger and gravity defying Kiss of Death or Backflip.

Vanni Oddera himself stated, “It was very exciting to work with the guys at Milestone. It’s been a blast to share my knowledge with them to help create MUD’s Monster Energy Trick Battle Mode, which I think is an amazing virtual experience.”

He added, “In the video diary, everyone can learn the techniques needed in order to be able to perform amazing tricks. I hope everyone will enjoy playing MUD just as much as I enjoyed helping to create the trick battle mode. MUD is a real adrenaline blast and definitely captures the excitement of motocross!”

MUD FIM Motocross World Championship will also include the MX1 and MX2 championships, the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations and The Monster Energy Trick Battle Mode.

The game will allow gamers to choose between 14 different bikes with varied handling models and from 84 riders, including Ryan Villopoto, Tony Cairoli, Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen.

12 official motocross tracks are simulated, with the development team taking care to make them as close as possible to the courses in the real world.
