Even after all these years, Monica Lewinsky is still sore because of how her affair with former US President Bill Clinton ended and particularly because of how she was shamed in the subsequent scandal. She’s now planning to release a tell-all book to get even, it has emerged.
Sources close to the former White House intern tell the tabs that, for years, Monica has been hounded by various publishers who tried to get her to spill her guts in a book.
She’s finally decided to do just that but, it would seem, the waiting has been worth the while,
Radar Online reports: she’ll be making $12 million (€9.2 million) in the process.
Besides getting richer, Monica will also be
getting even with Clinton, who literally ruined her life when the affair went public.
“Monica has tried to move forward, but the nightmare of her affair with Bill still haunts her,” a friend is quoted as saying.
“She’s facing 40 without a man in her life, and seething about the way her reputation was destroyed as the whole world watched,” the insider further says.
Not only is she writing a book to put her side of the story out there, but she’s also considering releasing the love letters she wrote to the President when they were still an item.
That alone could deal a very heavy blow to Clinton because they are of a very personal, extremely embarrassing nature.
“Monica wrote the letters on her computer. In them, she opened her heart about her love for Bill and how much happier she could make him than Hillary. Some of what she wrote was so raw that she never sent them,” another insider shares, as cited by the same publication.
As for the odd timing of the tell-all, a third source explains that Lewinsky is finally done with Clinton.
“For years, Monica tried to protect Bill out of
a misplaced sense of loyalty. But she no longer feels that way, and her memoir is his worst nightmare,” shares the insider.
