Monica Lewinsky Didn’t Marry Because She Still Loves Bill Clinton

Though she tried to get on with her life following the 1998 scandal that almost saw then-President Bill Clinton thrown out, Monica Lewinsky couldn’t. That’s because she still loves Mr. Clinton, she tells friends.

There’s no use rehashing the scandal that saw Clinton impeached and Lewinsky called a liar. Suffice it to say that she and Mr. Clinton were somehow involved in an “inappropriate relation.”

While Mr. Clinton continued to stress that the affair was not a romantic one, Lewinsky still believes the contrary to this day, the Daily Mail writes, citing friends close to her.

In fact, she’s still very much in love with the former US president, which is why she has never married and / or had children.

“15 years on, Bill Clinton’s former intern Monica Lewinsky has not got married or had children because she is reportedly still in love with him and ‘always will be’,” the British tab writes.

“Miss Lewinsky, 37, has run a successful business, hosted a reality television show and moved overseas - but has never found love, according to friends,” says the Mail.

These friends, apparently, know straight from Lewinsky the reason why she wouldn’t tie the knot with another man: because there can be no other man in her heart than Bill Clinton.

“Monica still hasn’t got over Bill and would take him back in a second,” an unnamed source says.

“She told me: ‘There will never be another man in my life that could make me as happy as he did’,” the spy goes on to say. That, despite hearing Clinton deny the affair and basically calling her a liar.

“Monica still carries a torch for him. She’s dated some guys, off and on, since the whole White House mess. But she’s never been able to get Bill out of her heart,” adds the spy.

In more recent interviews, Lewinsky stressed that Clinton’s book “My Life” (2004) was his chance to set the record straight by speaking the truth, a chance that he turned down when he continued to say the affair was purely physical and one-sided.
