What can make someone more special than buying a limited edition, luxury mobile from the Vertu series? Well, that's pretty simple actually.

Vertu has apparently thought of those people and has released a complete 'Racetrack legends' series, containing two new versions of the phone, "Monaco" and "Nurburgring", in yellow and Titanium gray. Just like all the mobile phones in this series, there will only be 1,000 units available of each and the handhelds will come in a handcrafted carbon fiber display case, if the user decides to get the whole lot of them.

The box the six Vertus come in features three drawers below the presentation tray, which can be very useful in storing the cases or accessories of the phones. All handhelds come with the map of the racetrack they were named after etched on the back and the treated leather case, which was designed to look like carbon fiber.

Aside from looking very pretty and exclusive, these handhelds will not offer much. But it is perfectly understandable, as the tri-band Gsm Vertu mobile phones have the sole purpose of satisfying the more pretentious users out there as design, and just work as a normal mobile phone that is generally used to make or receive calls.

And as usual when dealing with exclusive luxury phones, the price will be set to be ...well....exclusive. Therefore, although the price is not known so big, expect to feel your pocket much lighter after purchasing the whole six Vertu Racetrack Legends mobile phones, in which case you will get the carbon fiber case as well, and can consider yourself the proud owner of the whole set.

And who knows, in the end this series might prove to be more valuable as time passes by, just as it happens with the wine.
