Microsoft Paint is undoubtedly a helpful tool whenever you wish to create some awkward lines and stupid drawings, but there are some people out there who think this very simple graphic editor has much more potential.

Mike Licht is one of them and while some believe this guy has been gifted with a pretty special talent, others probably think that he has way too much free time.

Licht modified famous paintings using Microsoft’s Paint application and not advanced image editors such as Photoshop or Corel. This way, he created his very own Mona Lisa with an iPhone painting, as well as many other modern interpretation of classic art.

“Back in the last century I did work for others using professional graphic tools, but when I started blogging back in 2007 I began working this way [with Microsoft Paint],” he told Mashable. “Can't really say why. Maybe I feel the inevitable digital artifacts are part of the charm.”
