An Italian creator of notebooks and notebook accessories, Moleskine has released a journal app for iPad users. The note-taking app features virtual notebooks with a clear and distinct feel in Moleskine spirit.
Moleskine Journal replaces the former Moleskine app that debuted in April 2011, AppShopper reports. The app was created with input by a team of artists, designers, as well as Moleskine enthusiasts to include the elements that matter most to every user: “simplicity and elegance.”
Version 1.0.2 (released late last month) adds a text reset button to fit the ruled notebook template, as well as a new clear-page button. Inserting text into pocket has been stabilized, and some additional typing features have been implemented.
The company recently signed a deal with Evernote to have their Digital Notebooks feature special page styles with dotted lines. The new feature is said to assist image alignment and photo captures.
