Activision has finally deployed the first batch of DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on the PlayStation 3 console, in the form of the Liberation and Piazza maps, while confirming that the Overwatch level is out on March 29 for the platform.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 amazed tens of millions of players with its great gameplay and addictive multiplayer so Activision, its publisher, together with developers like Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games or Raven Software, are currently working on new content for it.

After releasing Liberation and Piazza, the first two content drops for Modern Warfare 3, on the Xbox 360, the companies have now launched them on the PlayStation 3, as a free download for premium Call of Duty Elite subscribers.

What’s more, they’ve also confirmed that the third content drop, in the form of the Overwatch map, is going to reach the PlayStation 3 on March 29, after appearing last week on the Xbox 360.

Until then, Call of Duty Elite subscribers on the PS3 can enjoy Liberation and Piazza right now.
