The media was more than harsh with her, but, somehow, nothing was able to keep Jordan, now known simply as Katie Price, down and out the spotlight. Together with husband and former singer Peter Andre and an army of publicists and, perhaps, media consultants, Katie has built for herself a genuine business empire. The most recent stone was set a couple of days ago, when she launched her KP Equestrian fashion line.

While reviews for the collection itself are not yet out, Katie’s appearance at the event has already been highly covered in the media. For one, the model chose the most out of place attire possible to attend the “grand unveiling,” namely a bright green sporty ensemble, matched with knee-high socks and open-toe tottering red heels. Heavily tanned and covered in makeup, the starlet was accompanied on her arrival by two of her children, Princess Tiaamii and Junior.

“A pair of shorts with high heels may not seem like the ideal outfit for horse riding, but that didn't [stop] Katie Price from wearing them to promote her new range of equestrian clothing. She looked the perfect blend between glamour model and horsewoman,” the Daily Mail writes about Katie’s outfit. With all that, even the tab admits that, after the grand opening, the model changed into a more suitable outfit including short skirt, beige top and brown soft leather boots.

The KP line is, as already mentioned, just one of many of Katie’s accomplishments, the model already having under her belt several books (including one on ponies), perfumes and a relatively successful foray in television. She’s not stopping here, either, as one of her most recent interviews reveals, since next year will be just as Katie-full as 2008.

“I've got loads of stuff coming out - my third perfume, cosmetics, hair products, more underwear, I have a pram and high chair range, a line of kids and men's equestrian wear, another novel, more kids' books and a styling book,” Katie recently told OK Magazine.
