Says she would find it close to impossible right now

She just turned 40 years old in December, has been married for five years, has a child and has been linked to countless celebrities, but beauty queen Helena Christensen is finally owning up to the truth of never sharing her living space with a man. At first, it just happened to be like that, but now it would be extremely difficult for her to live with anyone else than her son, the model tells the latest issue of InStyle Magazine.

The men in Helena’s life included actor Norman Reedus, to whom she was married for five years, Josh Hartnett, Leonardo DiCaprio and the late Michael Hutchence. She also has a 9-year-old son and he is the only man to ever live in the same house with her, a thing she couldn’t change now even if she wanted to, the model explains for the beauty and style magazine.

“I’ve never lived with anyone except my son […] because my life is travel, so it just happened that way. It’s not like I set out to live like that, but now it would be a big thing to move in with somebody. I’m used to my own place, my own things.” Helena Christensen says. “But you know, if I met the right person, I’m sure I’d be like, ‘Move in tomorrow, put your things everywhere.’ That would probably work for a while and then I’d need a bit of balance!” the model admits.

Asked whether she would like to have more children, the 40-year-old former Miss Denmark is not completely against the idea. However, she can hardly imagine herself having another one, especially when she looks at her son and realizes that nothing “more perfect” could come out of her and another man.

Age is not an issue either with the former beauty queen, she reveals in the same interview. At 40, she is admittedly in the best place ever and feels better than she ever felt in all her life. Something has to give, though, and she has lately started working out to keep her fit shape, now that age is no longer working as her ally.

“I’m in better shape than I was at 25 because I’m actually doing something physical, which I never did until two years ago because I was way too lazy. I try to go boxing twice a week and I run, but after exactly 21 minutes, I’m ready to lie down and vomit. I’m super-lucky with my metabolism. I eat more than anyone I know, so I have to be realistic – that might not always be the situation.” the star concludes by saying.
