Model Kristen Stephenson Pino had a minor role in the upcoming Disney blockbuster “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and, in the latest issue of Star magazine she recalls how she met Johnny Depp – and he ended up smitten with her.
The print issue of the tab (story and quotes via
here) doesn’t say outright that the two had an affair, but it does drop plenty of hints that they might have had, had Kristen said yes to Depp’s advances.
Since this is Star magazine and the model in question seems to have misunderstood Depp’s usual pleasantries (he is reportedly one of the nicest and most affable celebrities out there), a healthy grain of salt is recommended when reading the following.
Kristen tells the tab it took Johnny no more than a single look at her to be smitten on the spot – and to have his assistant get her to his trailer to talk.
Once there, the two started flirting: she initiated it, but he kept it up and even took it further. Luckily, Kristen is in a relationship, so she didn’t want to make this into something more serious, she claims.
“He was like, Darling you’re exquisite – you’re by far the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen,” the model tells Star of how Depp approached her.
“It was one-on-one, I was in there for a few hours, and that’s, like, everyone’s ideal lover boy. He’s just the whole package!” she gushes about the time she got to spend with Depp in his trailer.
As noted above, she started to flirt with Johnny, presumably after her heart started beating again, for it stopped when Depp, always the gentleman, took her hand and kissed it softly.
“I was like, ‘I’ll take you and Orlando Bloom! That’s the only way you can get me’,” she says. “He starts laughing and goes, ‘Honey, no, no, no, no. I don’t share with anybody. You either get me or me, and that’s it’,” she adds.
The two flirted some more and the meeting ended with Johnny promising her that she’d hear more of him after shooting for the film was done, which is precisely what happened.
Not only did Depp’s assistant contacted her for a 1-year gig as his assistant (which she says she turned down), but Depp himself went out of his way to make contact with the model who had stolen his heart, Star claims.
“Johnny’s motivations were more than clear! He wanted her with him. But Kristen declined because she wants to concentrate on her acting and modeling careers,” says a source.
