This is not the first time that a young girl/woman goes to the tabloids with a juicy story, probably getting paid thousands of dollars for it, and says on the record that she has had a secret love affair with a star, eventually when he was already married or engaged.
This goes for part-time model Amanda Wyatt too, who talked to the British 'Daily Mail' and not only came public with an alleged love affair but also with a history of drug and alcohol abuse that no one knew about.
According to Wyatt, she and Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman's husband, met in a bar and had a relationship for over a year, which ended in May 2006 (a month before he got married to the actress) for undisclosed reasons. Besides stating for a fact that Urban was a cheater, the model also revealed that he was so into drugs and alcohol at night that he often lost consciousness in bars. Even more, she warns Nicole that her husband is a 'very troubled man', prompting her to be careful in her marriage to him.
'I'm sorry if I hurt Nicole but I just want to tell the truth and move on. I hope that she finds happiness with him but Keith is a deeply troubled man. I hope for her sake that he sorts himself out. She deserves better.', Wyatt told the newspaper. Then, she goes to the really important stuff, like, their joint binges.
'Whenever he was in town we'd see each other two or three times a week. We'd drink and party and make love and (were) constantly on drugs. Looking back, I rarely saw him sober. He'd work during the day but the bourbon would be flowing and, at night, he'd take ecstasy and coke. We partied constantly.', the model reveals, admitting that she only hung out with him because he was a star and she was a nobody.
Keith is currently admitted at the Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs, California, where he is undergoing a rehabilitation program for his alcohol addiction. In the past, he went through a similar experience, that time for cocaine.
Neither his nor Nicole's spokesperson were immediately available for comment on Amanda Wyatt's statement.
