The fact that green-oriented organization PETA is dead set on getting the fashion industry to quit using fur when manufacturing haute couture outfits is no news.

Still, it seems that one of their most recent campaign aimed at putting an end to such acts of animal cruelty will benefit from the support of celebrity model Austin Armacost, who agreed to show off his physique for an ad that is expected to soon hit the public eye.

Apparently, what Austin Armacost wishes to draw attention to is that, as far as he is concerned, wearing absolutely no clothes in public is far better than wearing animal fur.

PETA informs us that this ad starring Austin Armacost is to be officially launched very close to the New York Fashion Week, when this industry is placed under an even brighter spotlight.

In case you were wondering, Austin Armacost will most likely be shown wearing precisely nothing in this new ad, just to bring some new meaning to the sentence: "Turn your back on fur."
