14 DAY TRIAL // Former glamour girl Alicia Douvall was pictured last month bruised and swollen after a trip to the US for more plastic surgery. Now, she’s nearly gotten her former face back and she promises never to go under the knife again.
The 30-year-old star has had over 100 surgical interventions throughout the years and, since she also admitted publicly to being addicted to plastic surgery, can’t get any work done in the UK.
Because of this, as we also informed you in September, Alicia had to fly all the way to the US and lie to doctors about her medical history to have them perform cosmetic surgery on her again.
However, this time, it was different, Douvall told the Daily Mail the other night, when she stepped out for dinner at a Japanese restaurant in London.
Looking very pretty and very much like her old self, Alicia told reporters waiting outside the restaurant that she only had surgery now to correct that which many others had botched, in an attempt to make her face look like it once did.
Right now, Douvall is convinced she won’t be messing with her face and body in the future.
“I had minimal corrective surgery last week. The surgery I had before was the worst scare of my life,” the glamour girl revealed for the Mail.
“I’ve got the feeling back in my face now, and that was definitely the last time I am ever going to have surgery,” she promised.
However, we were telling you in February 2009 that the face isn’t the only part of her body where Alicia can’t feel anything, since she also lost all sensation in her left breast, in the area under her right arm and her stomach.
Last year, she spent £4,000 to get a painful surgery on the second toe on each leg, which, the Mail says, involved cutting the bone to make it shorter than the big toe.
Alicia Douvall reportedly spent over £1 million on plastic surgery alone and has even sought professional help with her problem, following her confession that she was addicted.
She has developed Body Dysmorphic Disorder and has often spoken about how she wishes she could just wake up one day, look in the mirror and love the woman staring back at her.
