asder00, describing himself as “real time news of AMD / ATI Catalyst Driver leaks & releases,” published a modded version of the Catalyst released on February 15, 2013.

Hosted on the Guru3D forum, the release comes with no changelog. The only information available is that the modded driver now offers support for all AMD graphics cards, as opposed to the original version made only for the HD 7790.

To install the update under Windows 8, one must first disable driver signature enforcement.

The build info says so: DriverVer=02/15/2013, 12.101.2.0000, D3D: 9.14.10.0963, OGL: 6.14.10.12126 and OCL: 10.0.1124.2.

Users' opinions are that this release improves graphics performance in Crysis 3, maintaining a stable 50-60 fps of the Radeon HD 7970 with Eyefinity.

Some have claimed that the 3DMark11 performance is lower with this driver, but none has reported crashes so far.
