One of the best video players for Android devices, MoboPlayer, has just received a minor update that fixes an issue affecting devices powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and up.

Mobo Team, developers of the application, claim the latest update fixes the “no picture while soft-decode” issue that some Android 4.0 and 4.1 users experience.

No other changes have been included in this update, so MoboPlayer users anxious to try out new features will have to wait a bit longer until the next update arrives.

Keep in mind that the MoboPlayer application supports all video formats, but some might require users to choose “software decoding” mode in order to play them.

MoboPlayer 1.3.265 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0 and up. Check it out here.
