Mobius Forensic Toolkit, an open-source forensic framework written in Python/GTK that manages cases and case items, providing an abstract interface for developing extensions, is now at version 0.5.15.

In Mobius Forensic Toolkit, cases and item categories are defined using XML files, for easy integration with other tools.

Highlights of Mobius Forensic Toolkit 0.5.15:

• The Partition Viewer extension now provides a viewer for partition tables, making the partitioning process easier;
• The GTK-UI Treeview extension now implements a treeview based on treenodes;
• A lot of other minor improvements have been implemented.

Check out the official website for a more detailed description of the changes and the software.

Download Mobius Forensic Toolkit 0.5.15
right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
