This bulky device is worth considering for mission-critical tasks

If you thought there weren't enough rugged tablets in the world, MobileDemand is here to prove you wrong.

The company has just announced it was partnering up with supply chain and mobility solution provider, Peak-Ryzex in order to unleash a new indestructible tablet on the enterprise market.

The tablet, dubbed the xTablet T1200, is designed to provide mobility in precarious environments. When mobility is not the option, the slate can easily be mounted on forklifts or any other kinds of vehicles.

The tablet features powerful specification and has been submitted to military rugged testing, meant to ensure the products will survive drops and bumps. The xTablet T1200 is powered by Intel Core i5-3427U processor (Ivy Bridge) coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and comes either with Windows 8 or Windows 7 out of the box.

The slate offers 64GB to 256GB of internal storage, 4G LET, Bluetooth 4.0 and two cameras (HD frontal camera and 5MP on the back) and also has a full built-in numeric keypad and programmable keys.
