While Mobile TV has not really managed to become extremely popular across the US (as compared to some other countries where such services are available), that's not stopping manufacturers from rolling out all sorts of related devices, the latest we've come across belonging to Cydle and targeting one of the world's most popular smartphones, the iPhone 4.

So, the company has just revealed the fact that it will unveil the newest addition to the company’s extensive line of multimedia products, the i30A Mobile TV Receiver for the iPhone at the 2011 International CES.

Cydle’s i30A Mobile TV Receiver brings Mobile TV directly to a variety of smartphones, specifically the iPhone.

Featuring ATSC Mobile Digital TV and Smart Battery charging and sharing, the i30A features a built-in retractable antenna, built-in speakers, and is also equipped with an enclosed mounting kit, that will allow users to easily set-it up just about anywhere they might see fit.

Furthermore, the mobile TV receiver requires no subscription or additional fees to access mobile TV.

Cydle also claims that it's among the first to develop this type of ATSC M/H DTV receiver for the iPhone and has an international patent for this technology and design.

“As often as people are on the go, many would enjoy the option to access TV anywhere at anytime,” stated Terry Choi, director of sales, Cydle.

“Cydle strives to provide products that will meet and surpass the needs of consumers, and we’re confident that the i30A will enhance the entertainment experience like no other,” Mr. Choi added.

Cydle’s i30A Mobile TV Receiver will be available at major retailers nationwide in March 2011, with a starting MSRP of $149, which is not exactly a very small price, but, then again, that's pretty much the case with most Mobile TV receivers out there.
