14 DAY TRIAL // Publisher Namco Bandai has released the first high-resolution screenshots for the upcoming mech fighting game Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Missing Link.
The Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story series was last seen on the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast, and the new game tells the story of the One Year War from the perspectives of the Earth Federation Forces and the Principality of Zeon.
Battles will be set both on the ground and in outer space, with players controlling platoons of up to three Mobile Suits, shooting down their enemies from a third-person perspective.
The screenshots came via the Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, showing B. B. Studio and Namco Bandai's progress so far.
The game is scheduled to land on the PlayStation 3, and it is yet unclear whether it will benefit from an international launch or it is limited to Japan only.
