Mobile Games More Popular Than Pornography

The market of digital content for mobile gaming consoles will reach $42 billion, and the difference between the revenues generated by entertainment products aimed at teens and that of products aimed at adults will increase will reach in short period of time billions of dollars, the little ones being the winners.


According to the analysis company Informa Telecoms and Media, out of the $42.6 billion generated by digital content for mobile entertainment, the games for mobile consoles alone will amount to $11.2 which means that by 2010, 15% of the users will download and play games on their personal handset.


Compared to these figures, pornography and gambling will generate much smaller revenues, which means a drastic change of entertainment preferences among adults.

It is estimated that by 2010, pornography will generate only $2.3 billion and gambling will generate $7.6 billion.
