Vodafone Czech Republic selected Amobee Media Systems for the launch of a new mobile advertising service that will display advertising in the Vodafone live! Portal, in Vodafone's messaging services and in its games downloads.

Vodafone chose Amobee based on its powerful system and its capability to deliver a complete mobile advertising solution. Using a single ad-server, Amobee inserts interactive, targeted advertisements into different Vodafone CZ entertainment and communication services. Amobee's media system features an offline campaign administration system and an online ad-server that enables appropriate advertising impressions delivery in every mobile service: SMS, MMS, games, music, video, on and off portal browsing, IM and so on.

"We are pioneers of Mobile Advertising on the Czech market and leading the rest of the Vodafone globally with our solution," says Grahame Maher, Chief Executive Officer at Vodafone CZ. "The Amobee platform launch is a first for Vodafone in the Czech Republic. This has given us a tool to accelerate the deployment of ad-funded services and provides us with a new revenue stream and media channel by engaging brands and advertisers. We are confident both our subscribers and advertisers will be satisfied with the value this new service will provide."

Zohar Levkovitz, Chief Executive Officer of Amobee, said: "The industry is united in recognising the potential of mobile as a media channel in its own right - allowing advertisers to deliver their messages in a more personal, relevant and contextual way than has ever been possible in the past. Vodafone's launch in the Czech Republic signals a new role for mobile operators in the advertising world, creating an entirely new channel for advertisers and a new way for consumers to enjoy more mobile services."

With the help of Amobee's Media System, Vodafone Czech Republic will be able to provide a new and powerful media channel to brands and advertisers. The Amobee Media System will also be used to launch a messaging service for students, a service that allows them to send SMS messages during the whole scholar year for free, but with the condition of receiving advertising.
