Canadian-based manufacturer specialized in CNC (computer numerical controlled) machined luxury phones, Mobiado has just announced its latest creation, the “Grand Touch.”

This is Mobiado's first Android smartphone and, as expected, the phone is aimed at Android fans with richer pockets.

To make things even more expensive the phone is gold plated and the top of the body is CNC engraved with the signature of the designer, Peter Bonac.

Mobiado also stated that this is its first touch screen mobile phone as well. The Grand Touch has the same specific sophistication and minimalistic appearance that displays luxury, which made the Canadian manufacturer so successful.

As expected, the Grand Touch body is precision CNC machined from solid aircraft aluminum and anodized.

In addition, the smartphone is CNC machined from solid brass and is plated with gold. The process of CNC machining allowed the manufacturer to create the body of the phone with straight lines instead of curves.

The frame of the smartphone is inlayed with optional black painted sapphire crystal placed in every corner facet.

Furthermore, 2 pieces of sapphire crystal are connected at a sharp angle on the back hood of the device.

And if this doesn't look expensive enough, it appears that the battery cover is made entirely from sapphire crystal that features a hidden sliding mechanism. The screws are gun metal black stainless steel and the buttons are black painted sapphire crystal.

When it comes to hardware configuration, the Grand Touch features the same specs as the Samsung's Nexus S, including a 4-inch S-LCD capacitive touchscreen display, along with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP.

According to Mobiado, the phone is available in six designer styles: black, black satin, blue, grey, red and silver. Two designer styles are available as well: yellow and rose gold.
