Mobiado, the Canadian-based manufacturer specialized in CNC (computer numerical controlled) machined luxury phones, has just announced its new 712 series handset, Mobiado Classic 712 Stealth. The phone's name is a reference to military stealth aircrafts and features a modern minimalistic design.

The Classic 712 Stealth handset was manufactured from a combination of exquisite materials such as aluminum and sapphire crystal.

The phone is made from an aircraft aluminum compound “glass-bead blasted” and adorned with sapphire gems. The phone's case is anodized and covered in black to produce an extremely durable and hard ceramic coating.

The large sapphire crystal plates are placed into the aluminum body, while the sapphire gems along its sides are hand painted.

Mobiado Classic 712 Stealth embeds buttons which are crafted from sapphire crystal and hand painted in black. In addition to the hard to break materials, the phone is assembled using gun-metal black stainless steel screws. Mobiado's logo is placed on the back cover and it was CNC machine engraved into the body.

However, when it comes to technical specifications, the Classic 712 Stealth fails to impress, even though the manufacturer's official announcement mentions a “large 2.2-inch QVGA display.”

The ultra-high end luxurious handset sports a 5-megapixel camera with flash and video recording capabilities, built-in GPS receiver, web browser, email support, music player (supports AMR, MID, MP3, MP4, M4A, .WMA and AAC files) and runs on Nokia’s S40 platform.

The phone is unlocked and is compatible with all GSM network operators, as the device is quad-band (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) and triple band WCDMA Band I, II and VIII (2100/1900/900) compatible.

There's no price tag yet for the device, but the manufacturer has unveiled plans to release more versions of the handset.

Mobiado Classic 712 Stealth will be available worldwide with a black, clear, blue, or ruby selection button.
