Shigeru Miyamoto, the leading game creator at Nintendo, says that the company needs to find a big partner that can handle High Definition remakes for classic titles as its main studios are focused on new games.

Fans have responded well to the various titles that have been so far re-launched on the Wii U and apparently, more such experiences might be announced soon.

Miyamoto tells Gamespot that, “The main thing that's always going to be on our minds is what new elements of gameplay can we use with the GamePad as applied to some of these older games. We want to find some way to bring a refreshing experience to this rather than simply update the visuals and leave it at that.”

The developer also believes that a new Super Mario title that uses some of the mechanics of Galaxy might be a hit with gamers.

Remakes would represent a good way of increasing the rather disappointing sales of the Wii U.
