After a break since she released 3 CDs in 3 years (2001-2003), Missy Elliot comes back with a new album - "The Cookbook".
The album has 17 tracks featuring Ciara, Houston rapper Mike Jones, M.I.A., dancehall artist Vybz Cartel, ''American Idol" winner Fantasia, Grand Puba and British Slick Rick and Mary J. Blige.
The opinions on her latest album vary from "the best album since 2001's 'Miss E… So Addictive'" to "weak R&B or clumsy rap", but only time will tell.
Just two weeks ago, Missy Elliot confessed at a press conference that she's high and that she tried drugs during a trip in Jamaica. "What's up with everyone? Sorry if I sound kind of weird but I just had a Jamaican brownie - some of you might know what I'm 'bout," Femalefirst.com quoted the singer as saying.
This shocked journalists present because Elliot, 33, has always taken a vehement anti-drugs stand. "All my life I never had one. When I was 15, I would have said I would never have tried weed. So you know never say never".
