Miu Miu Is Bulls***ting Us Again

Anyone dare to venture a guess as to why the people from the upmarket Miu Miu, Prada's little pet line, don't love Lindsay Lohan? Let me tell you how things stand: a while ago, the actress took the decisive step from being just another teen idol to establishing herself as a genuine fashion icon, by signing a contract and becoming the face of Miu Miu.

After signing Lindsay up, the designers announced that she would start working for the spring 2007 campaign as soon as possible and, truly, she did begin work almost on the spot. This Friday, her first ad came up on the Internet and, if you do recall, the woman that appeared in it had nothing to do with our beloved Lindsay.

The question was: did Miu Miu not like Lindsay or were they just trying to make her fit their standard for women models? Whichever would be the answer to these questions, there would still be another issue to settle: why would they sign her if they thought that she was not according to their standards?

Let's leave all that for others to answer and let us take a closer look at these two other photos that just surfaced. They are part of the same campaign and, as you can see for yourselves, they also deserve the Photoshop awards. This girl is not Lindsay! Hot... but not her! Then again, could this be the reason why she's so hot? I don't think so.

As to what's wrong with these photos (besides Miu Miu trying to fool us that they're really of Miss Lohan) is that they even took her trademark freckles away. I mean, what is Lindsay without her freckles?! Methinks that's why she's so upset in the first picture... 'Oooh, where have my freckles gone?'.
