Mitsubishi has just unveiled their new iCar, a car that seems to have been designed to go with the iPod.

The new automobile, currently only marketed in Japan features an in-dash slot that accepts an iPod nano.
The connector is at the back of the slot, so all you have to do is slide the nano in and it will become hooked up to the car's audio system.

This approach deals away with cables and wires and anything else, and makes attaching your portable player to the car's audio as easy as it can be.

After sliding the iPod in the slot, the nano is then controlled via the iCar's built in, hard drive based satellite navigation system. There is no additional messy operation, and the player is accessed through the touch panel screen.

The iCar is available in two colors, black and white, to match your iPod color, and anyone ordering the car will receive a special edition iPod, to go with it.
