A man has donned a mask depicting President Barack Obama at the Missouri State Fair rodeo over the weekend.

The man, otherwise dressed as a clown, put on a show asking the crowd if they would like to watch as a bull runs down Obama.

Many people were cheering on and hoping to see Obama get trampled, an attendant described on Facebook.

According to Riverfront Times, officials in the Missouri Republican and Democratic parties have both slammed the gesture as inappropriate.

Perry Beam had brought an exchange student from Taiwan at the show. The young boy was left wondering about the public's opinion of the president.

"We wanted him to see the rodeo, because that's uniquely American. It's always a family kind of thing, a patriotic kind of thing," he described.
