Nokia announced the launch of the Mission Impossible 3 movie on memory cards, at the same time as the DVD release. A deal between Nokia and Paramount Pictures will make the film available on memory cards shipped exclusively with Nokia Nseries multimedia devices.

"With this package, we want to highlight that the Nokia N93 is not only a fantastic movie-making device, but that it is also a portable video player, allowing users to enjoy movies wherever, whenever," said Tuula Rytil?-Uotila, director, Multimedia, Nokia. "You can even watch movies on an airplane with the device in offline mode. Indeed, we look forward to seeing consumers across Europe enjoying Mission Impossible 3 on their Nokia N93 devices this holiday season."

Buyers of the Nokia N93 handset will be able to enjoy the full version of the movie free of charge, as the memory card which contains the film is included in the handset's sales package. The offer is available in several countries including Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and UK.

Consumers can watch Mission Impossible 3 on the 2.4 inch QVGA display of the Nokia N93 and enjoy an enhanced audio experience thanks to the stereo headsets included in the sales package. The film is supplied on a 512 MB miniSD card and runs at 25 frames per second.

"Combining the exciting innovations of Nokia N93 with a film as cutting edge as Mission Impossible 3 makes for a truly winning formula for consumers," said Thomas Lesinski, President, Paramount Pictures Digital Entertainment.
