Besides missing persons posters, people who live in New York City can now also see some tiny missing mice posters on the streets.

d-CON, an American pest control company, and Havas Worldwide New York have recently created an unusual guerilla campaign featuring the mugs of little mice, that allegedly disappeared around the town. Hundreds of miniature missing posters have been placed at mouse level all over New York so that the rodent population can see them.

Rats and mice are a real problem in the American city, and politicians and health authorities actively enforce policies and programs to manage the rat population. According to AdWeek, there could be five times as many rats as people in New York, which means roughly 32 million rodents.

Studies have indicated that this city is particularly suited for rats, taking into account climate, human population patterns, public sanitation practices, and other variables.

But d-CON has taken measures to reduce their number, by releasing a series of products for pest control. So, the new campaign is designed to celebrate its victory against the furry animals.

The two companies have also created a series of funny videos for the same campaign, in which rodent families deal with the horror of having ingested d-CON products. You can see all of them below.
