What was good this week and what's next for the music event of the fall

We're getting close to the first half of iTunes Festival and we have already seen some great artists and bands performing in London. Do we need to remind you that Robert Plant, Pharrell Williams and Maroon 5 were on the stage in the past few days?

Fortunately enough, Apple keeps the performances free for a while in iTunes, so you can still watch them for free if you know where to go. iTunes has special pages created for the festival.

Past shows are still free

Pharrell Williams', for example, has the whole show and then 3 featured videos for songs like "Hunter," "Lapdance" and "Come Get It Bae." You can also see a great collection of high-quality photos and preview all of his albums.

Pharrell Williams' show was pretty cool for a guy that does music for others and only recently has launched his solo career. Go ahead and take a look at his performance.

Another show that you don't want to miss these days is the one by Maroon 5. The Californian band has a new album that just came out a few days ago, called "V," so they sang some of their new tracks along the old and great ones. On their special iTunes page, you will see a show that is over an hour long and clips from 3 of their songs – "It Was Always You," "One More Night," and the newest hit, "Maps."

You can get Maroon 5's albums for a spin by previewing all their songs and choose the ones you love or just buy bestseller tracks.

If you don't want to see the videos and you just want to listen to the music, you can chose iTunes Radio. They play the latest shows back to back for your pleasure.

Who's next?

Friday night, the stage belongs to Nick Mulvey and Elbow. As usual, Apple chose local artists to fill the spots when they do not have a big name on the poster.

Nick Mulvey is actually from London and he will release his new album "First mind" on September 16. Listen to his music in iTunes and see if you are going to enjoy him on Friday, after 6:45pm GMT.

The main name in tonight's performance is the band called Elbow. They come from a place near Manchester and their melodic rock is well appreciated in the United Kingdom.

Watch their show tonight and don't forget to check out Softpedia for information on the next singer or band to come to the iTunes Festival.
