Some new information about the upcoming sequel to Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun arose. The new installment, Command & Conquer Tiberium Wars will feature live action video sequences from some blockbuster films and a few successful television series.

EA recruited actors who played important
roles in movies like Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Starship Troopers, Top Gun and The Wedding Crashers, and from critically acclaimed television series like LOST or Battlestar Galactica. Among the big names that will feature in the upcoming game, there are: Michael Ironside, Billy Dee Williams, Tricia Helfer, Josh Holloway, Shauntay Hilton and Grace Park. A former Miss USA pageant winner has been also recruited to appear in Command & Conquer.

The actors just finished their scenes for the upcoming game and a few of them decided to reveal on-the-set information. Billy Dee Williams explained that he is playing GDI Director Redmond Boyle, and that the storyline of the game drew him in. As every actor praises his or hers character, Williams declared that Redmond Boyle required much more depth to be played. He also said that he did not have this much fun playing a character since Star Wars.

The action of the third installment in the Command & Conquer series takes place during the Third Tiberium War, as the Brotherhood of Nod (the bad guys) launches a worldwide offensive against the Global Defense Initiative (the good guys). So this is how another war between the Nod and the GDI starts.
