Moreover, on a scale of 1 to 10, he may have actually scored a 10+ since reports have it he’s been quietly dating none other than Miss USA 2010, Miss Michigan Rima Fakih, the Examiner says.
The rumor seems to have started, as is the case almost always, with the tabloids. Admittedly, the two met a short while ago through common friends and have been seeing each other on a regular basis ever since. Granted, a relationship has been nearly impossible what with Fakih’s recent travels, but it’s something that both are considering to a certain extent, spies claim.
“The newly crowned Miss USA, Rima Fakih has been rumored to be dating Paris Hilton’s ex, Doug Reinhardt, according to Us Weekly. Reportedly, the pole-dancing beauty has been seeing Doug for a few weeks and the couple plans on getting together next week when Rima will fly out to LA. A source said that, ‘They met through friends and have been talking and seeing each other.’ They have been on a few dates over the past couple of weeks the source added,” Examiner writes, citing ongoing reports.
Now, depending on who one chooses to believe, other insiders assure the media that Doug is not even looking for something serious but more of a fling, while others, even more determined, claim that Doug and Rima don’t even know each other. If that be the case, Examiner believes it has an explanation for how this rumor came to be – and it was nothing short of getting the wrong Miss mixed in the equation to make it happen.
“The rumor may have gotten started because Doug is supposedly been talking to another Miss USA, in this case a former one. The E! News source said that Paris’ ex has been getting to know Miss USA 2009, Kristen Dalton, who is from North Carolina. Doug and Kristen connected through mutual friends and agreed to meet next time Kristen was in town. The E! News insider says that the two haven’t met in person yet, but may do so very soon, as Dough will be in New York, where Kristin now lives,” the aforementioned e-zine explains.
