SnoopWall, a company that provides “counterveillance” security software, is promoting its products at the RSA Conference 2014 in San Francisco with the aid of Miss Teen USA Cassidy Wolf.

In case you’re wondering why Wolf is perfect for the role, it’s because she’s on a mission to raise awareness of cyber threats. She was recently targeted by a hacker who had tried to blackmail her after using her computer’s webcam to take private photos of her.

Wolf will be present at SnoopWall’s Booth on Wednesday, February 26, between 11AM and 6PM.

Prior to the event, SnoopWall and Miss Teen USA have released an infographic containing some useful tips that can help users protect their privacy.

“I feel as though this unfortunate tragedy was supposed to happen to me so I can use my voice to help stop this from happening to other people,” Wolf said.

“Unless we take important steps to protect ourselves, Americans of all ages are at risk for privacy violations. As SnoopWall strongly shares my mission to educate the public about online privacy, I’m happy to support and join them at the RSA Conference to call attention to this growing issue.”
