The Muppets star talks to Anderson Cooper about how she's 99% Botox

Since breaking into the spotlight in 1974 with The Muppets, Miss Piggy hasn't aged a day. Her style might have changed but her face always remained the same. In case you've been wondering, it's because of all the Botox, she says.

Miss Piggy and CNN's plastic surgeon Dr. Sanjay Gupta were both on Anderson Cooper to talk about Botox for a wrinkle-free face and the dangers no one wants to consider when deciding to have it injected.

Miss Piggy is the first one to call a spade a spade: she's been getting so much of the toxin all these years that she could say she's made of it.

Her face doesn't move and she hardly has one expression, but, against all odds, this doesn't seem to have affected her acting career.

“I have at one time said I am 99 percent Botox, but that might be underestimating,” she says laughing, as the video below will confirm.

“No, [the forehead doesn't move at all]. There’s hardly a single expression I can make on this face,” she adds.

Dr. Gupta graciously notes that chances are Miss Peggy wouldn't even need Botox because she'd still be glamorous and gorgeous (albeit not wrinkle-free, most likely).

He also says that too much Botox does have very nasty, albeit temporary side-effects that many women and men are determined not to consider before getting the shots.

“First of all Miss Piggy, you look beautiful. You need absolutely no work whatsoever. I do think it is possible to go overboard when it comes to plastic surgery or even Botox,” Dr. Gupta says.

“Botox is something that can be safe but one of the potential concerns if you use too much of it you can actually make your eyelids droop, you can cause headaches, you can cause other problems. Luckily it’s temporary. She looks great though,” he adds, smiling at Cooper.

As of now, Miss Piggy has only admitted to Botox, but word online has it she might have had more procedures of a more invasive nature done, like a rhinoplasty, cheek implants and perhaps her ears pinned back.
