While in Malibu, doing a photoshoot, Mischa Barton was advised by her publicist to sleep with "The Aviator" star, Leonardo DiCaprio, in order to boost her career.
They had seen DiCaprio, and the PR man gave this advice to Mischa as a joke.
And the 19-year-old starlet replied instantly: "Isn't he, like, 30 or something?"
That must have hurt Mr. DiCaprio, who has recently split up with Gisele Bundchen, and is now single and looking.
Mischa is playing Marissa in hit teen drama The O.C. and just split up with oil heir Brandon Davis. But she doesn't have to knock on Leonardo's door, as her career develops well lately.
The young starlet is not only beautiful, but also smart. In an interview with "Harpers & Queen" this month, she said about her Marissa character:"She's the wild card of the show. Marissa epitomizes all that is wrong with youth these days. She's purposely over-written and sensationalized."
